Breitling AB0134101B1A1, is a Chronomat B01 42. The Chronomat is one of the most recognizable designs in contemporary watchmaking. As per Breitling's website, it first hit the scene in 1984 after originally being designed for the Italian Jet Team the year previous. In fact the Rider Tabs at 0, 15, 30, and 45 were designed to help protect the case from breaking when a pilot would open his jet's canopy. The design is very much intact today even with a recent overhaul in 2020. Our listing is in unworn condition. The previous owner received the watch as a gift he could no longer accommodate. It is still covered in stickers and plastic. As such only the lightest, superficial wear appears on bezel, which is only visible under close, magnified inspection. The rest is under wraps.
